Some time in 2018, I was invited alongside other Nigeria makers, hardware developers and designers to collaborate and help to solve pressing challenges within the Nigerian shoe making Industries.
One of the challenges reported was itches on the hills of the users of Nigeria made shoes. In our research, we found that one among the reasons of the itching was from the shoe-last design. So, we were obliged to redesign the shoe-last to suit the Nigerian legs and eradicate the discomfort.
After the project, I decided to try modeling this sneakers in Fusion 360 using the results from the shoe-last. I felt I'm kinda comfortable with the outcome. So, I feel like sharing. It was my first time modeling a shoe in Fusion 360.
