Founded in 2018 by a group of passionate makers and educators, led by Uche Ajuonuma, CoMakers Africa began as a small shared workshop in Owerri. What started as a place for friends to collaborate on projects quickly grew into a movement to democratize access to fabrication tools across Nigeria.
Today, we operate a network of 12 makerspaces serving over 5,000 members annually, with plans to expand to every state in Nigeria by 2025.
To empower innovators across Nigeria by providing affordable access to tools, spaces, and knowledge that enable them to turn ideas into reality.
