1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any facilities, services, or websites operated by CoMakers Africa ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.

2. Membership and Access

2.1 Eligibility

To become a member or use our facilities, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old (or have parental consent)
• Complete all required registration forms
• Provide valid identification
• Agree to safety training requirements

2.2 Membership Types

We offer several membership levels with varying access privileges:

• Basic: Limited access during standard hours
• Maker: Expanded access with additional equipment privileges
• Professional: 24/7 access with dedicated workspace

2.3 Safety Requirements

All members must:

• Complete mandatory safety orientations
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment
• Only use equipment after proper certification
• Report any accidents or equipment issues immediately

3. Payments and Fees

• Membership fees are due in advance of each billing cycle
• We accept payment via bank transfer, credit card, and mobile money
• Late payments may result in service suspension
• Refunds are available within 7 days of initial membership, prorated thereafter
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

4. Facility Use and Conduct

4.1 General Rules

All users must:

• Respect other members and staff
• Clean up after themselves
• Use equipment only for its intended purpose
• Not engage in illegal activities on premises

4.2 Prohibited Activities

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Unauthorized equipment modifications
• Creating weapons or dangerous items
• Commercial production without authorization
• Removing tools or materials without permission
• Any activity that violates intellectual property rights

5. Liability and Waivers

5.1 By using our facilities, you acknowledge and accept that:

• Maker activities involve inherent risks
• You use equipment at your own risk
• We are not liable for personal injury or property damage
• You may be required to sign additional liability waivers

5.2 We maintain general liability insurance but do not insure members' projects or personal property.

6. Intellectual Property

• You retain ownership of projects created in our spaces
• We may photograph projects for promotional purposes (opt-out available)
• Commercial use of our name/logo requires permission
• You warrant that your projects do not infringe others' rights

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend membership for:

• Violation of these Terms or safety rules
• Non-payment of fees
• Disruptive or dangerous behavior
• Any reason with 30 days notice

Members may cancel with 30 days written notice.

8. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify members of material changes.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Nigerian law. Any disputes shall be resolved in Imo State courts.
